She was born February 3, 1961, in the Bronx, New York. Upon adulthood, she set out for travel to find a place to call home. She eventually settled in the smaller town of Quincy, IL, where she raised three beautiful daughters.
Annette was a young, beautiful soul. She was unique in style, one of a kind, outgoing, with a spunky spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her close friends and raising her girls. She enjoyed writing, crime fiction, and gothic fantasy. She was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, however her greatest passion was music.
Annette is survived by her three daughters, Patricia (Ryan) Marie Newman, Erica Denise Velez, and Marikkia Anne Velez; grandchildren, Quantez Green, Ryan Newman, Iceis Green, Zyerah Green, Akeeyah Velez, Lukus Sanchez, Liam Furaman, Soleil Newman, Amora Green, Joyce Newman, and Ryan Newman.

Cremation has been accorded. Memorials in honor of Annette may be made to QUANADA, 2707 Maine St, Quincy, IL 62301. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
