She was born February 6, 1943 in Lincoln, IL to Fred and Mary (Aper) Aper. She married James Hauk on June 29, 1969 in Hartsburg, IL. He survives along with one daughter, Kathy Hauk of Peoria, one son, Kyle (Amy) Hauk of Peoria, three grandchildren: Kourtney, Wyatt, Cody, and one brother, Floyd (Gail) Aper of Normal, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Myron Aper, and two sisters, Myrna and Kathleen Aper.
Arlene worked for McGill Air Flow in Peoria until her retirement in 2008. She was member of St John’s Lutheran Church in Bartonville and enjoyed quilting.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
