Barbara N. Horton "Witch Doctor", 77, of Bartonville, passed away at 6:15 pm on Sunday, May20, 2012at her home surrounded byher lovingfamily.

She was bornApril 18, 1935inHarrisburg, IL toHarry and Alice (Mattingley) Pickering. She married John Hortonon June 14, 1958 in Peoria. He preceded her in death,as didher parents and one brother.

Surviving are her children, Rita (Jim) Bomhold, Eleanor (Tony) Gienow both of Bartonville and Georgia (Steve) Garciaof Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, two sisters, Louise McCluskey of Harrisburg, IL,IdaMae Powell of California and one brother, Wilburn (Lorraine) Pickering of Griffith, IN and a host of nieces and nephews.

Barbara loved to sew, go camping, C.Bradio's, but most of all she loved herfamily.

A visitation will be on Wednesday,May 23,2012 from 5 to7 pm atthe Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. A funeralservice will be on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to theservice at the funeral home.The Rev.Art Georgeswill officiate. Burialwill follow the service atLutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
