Barb and I worked together at the Limestone Independent News. We shared laughter and many good times. I am grateful to have met her and George and their family. Her love of family was very apparent. Barb was a woman of smiles as evidenced in the wonderful photos on this site. Thank you to her loved ones for posting them. They are wonderful to see and reminisce. I'll miss not seeing Barb in the grocery store or a local restaurant. She and George were fun to talk to, and to share laughs with, and news of our families. Rest in peace, Barb, and thank you for your friendship. You are so missed.

I can remember Barb from high school, but we really got to know each other while waiting for our husband's to get off work at CILCO. Barb had a way of making you feel welcome when you were with her and George. You are truly going to be missed Barb. Carl and I send our deepest sympathy to George and family.

I my lifetime I have known only a few people who have had contagious laughter and the ability to lift your mood and brighten your day. Barb was one of those. She was always happy. I have many wonderful memories of her that I will cherish.

I love the Scudder family. Barb was always a bright spot in my life. She cared about people, her neighbors- Chuck and Colleen-so many. I am so sorry for her families loss. She was a great person. XOXOX to her family

Barb was my Kroger friend. We’d always run into each other there. We’d talk and laugh for a half hour. We just hit it off. Also, I had many dealings with her when she owned the Limestone News. She was always professional and warm. She was a lovely lady and I’ll miss her.
