Barry Lee Lane Sr.

Barry was born February 15, 1949 in Peoria, the son of Arthur & Evelyn Hauck Lane. He married Nancy Anderson in 1970. He later married Carolyn McKinney in Peoria on May 25, 2007.

He is survived by his wife of six years; two daughters, Tammy Buskirk , Angela( Anthony) Swiger both of Bartonville; two sons Barry Lane Jr. of Bartonville, and Darrin (Karen) Burke of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren; one step-son Kevin (Melissa) Asbury of Yates City; one stepdaughter, Mary Lee Ann Asbury of Bartonville; two sisters, Pam (Ron) Chestnut of Lewistown, and Judy (Lonnie) Wall of Pekin; and his mother and father-in-law, Lloyd & Roberta West of Abington.

Barry is preceded in death by his parents.

He was a very proud Army veteran who loved his family. In his younger days he loved riding his Harley.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Pastor Zack Rogers will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
