I didn't know Betty real well, but the times I met her she was always warm and friendly. She was also the Mother of my daughter in law, Nikki. I will miss her.

LISA, my heart is heavy with sadness!!! It is hard to let our loved ones go and be with Jesus! Just know, that she is safe she is happy and she is pain-free and that’s all you could hope for! She would not have left if she did not think that you all are going to be OK! please keep your arms around her memories and she will be with you always!!

I will miss the phone calls that Betty & I had these last several years. She would always start out the call with "Hi Honey how are you? Even though she was not feeling well, she would always ask how all my family was doing, and she would finish with "be sure to take good care of yourself." I treasure the memories of our friendship through the many years of raising kids and working hard. She was a true blessing in my life. She will be missed.
