

Born July 31, 1957 in Peoria to Carl and Nancy (Wright) Marks; she married Charles “Bud” Broyles on November 12, 1977.
Surviving are her mother and husband; children, Brian (Angela) Broyles of Pekin and Brad Broyles of Bellevue; grandchildren, Mia Broyles, Braydon Call, Brayden Broyles, Ayden Broyles, Lillie Martin, Camden Broyles and Robert Broyles; sisters, Carla (Dave) Lemasters of Hanna City, Lisa Marks-Howard of Peoria and Debbie Marks-Teel of East Peoria; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Tina) Broyles of Mapleton and Kevin Broyles of Goodfield, IL.
Brenda was anxiously anticipating becoming a great grandmother in March and was excited to be called GG by the little one.
Preceding in death were her father, Carl Marks; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Shirley Broyles and her brother-in-law, Larry Howard.
Brenda was a graduate of Woodruff High School in Peoria and operated BVP Productions with her husband for many years.
She was devoted to her family and is remembered as being very caring, selfless and willing to help others as is evidenced by her founding Brenda’s Blessings to ensure that children in the Bellevue/Norwood area would have gifts at Christmas in 2020. This mission has grown to serve over 50 families in the community.
She was a member of the White Rose Fellowship in Bellevue.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel with Pastor Shane House officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
