Carolyn Joann Foiles

She was born June 10, 1943 in Peoria to Carl and Rose (Romolo) Barnett. She married Ronnie D. Foiles on April 14, 1962 in Peoria County. He passed away September 28, 2025 in Peoria. She is also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include four sons: Scott (Sharon) Foiles of Metamora, Brad (Leisa) Foiles of Bartonville, Mark Foiles of Galesburg, Matt (Shannon) Foiles of Bartonville, nine grandchildren: Britney Foiles, Gabrielle Foiles, Kayla (Charles) Dubois, Beau Foiles, Mackenzie (Kody) Strong, Ryelee (Madi) Green, Sydney (Josh) Perez, Lakin Foiles and Matison Foiles. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren: Tripp, Briggs, Palmer, Jett, Dexter, Ronni, Zayne, Watson, Raddox, Sophia, Harlow, and two sisters: Regina (Joe) Passage of Germantown Hills, and Carla (Brian) Fleming of Glasford. Carolyn was also greatly anticipating the birth of three new great-grandchildren.

Carolyn worked in administration for Pitney Bowes in Peoria until her retirement in 2008.

She enjoyed her time living in Florida with her husband Ronnie and loved attending any of the grandchildren’s activities. She was also active in her community church and was an avid volunteer for multiple organizations.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 3 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at the American Legion in Bartonville, Il. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Burial will be in St John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
