She was born Feb. 7, 1932 in Pana, IL to Harold and Lena (Shempf) Paradee. She married James Robert Pemberton in Pana, IL on June 25, 1948. He preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and 1 grandson.
Surviving are 4 children, Wanda (Ross) Shride of Washington, Diann Pemberton of Plainfield, Dennis Pemberton of Washington, James E. (Kathy) Pemberton of Pekin; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Clara attended Laramie Street Baptist Church in Peoria.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
