He was born July 30, 1950 in Canton to Ralph and Dorothy (Downing) Northrup. He married Sharon Roberts on June 26, 1971 in Trivoli. She survives along with one son, Dustin Northrup of Mapleton, and one granddaughter, Sophia Northrup also of Mapleton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Rollin Northrup, and one sister, Janet Watkins.
Danny worked at Keystone Steel & Wire for over 35 years. Growing up he helped on the family farm.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and spending time working out in his yard.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Penn Ridge Cemetery near Trivoli.
