Although my husband & I did not know him well, we got acquainted with Dave just from stopping to chat with him when we would walk or bike past his house. He was always very friendly and good natured. One time he asked my husband to help him carry something heavy into the house from his truck. Then he invited us in for a home tour as he told us about his woodworking hobby. We were so impressed with his skill & expertise. What beautiful projects! On other visits, he showed us his old cars and his garden. He talked about his kids and grandkids as well, and of course, his beloved Susie. What a super nice guy! Our heartfelt sympathy to all of his family. You are in our prayers. How blessed you are to have his example in your lives!!! We enjoyed looking at all the family photos on this site. They are keepsakes, for sure.
