David "Dave" W. Stewart Sr.

He was born on June 1, 1938 in Monmouth, IL to Thomas M. and Lottie (Barron) Stewart. He married Mona B. Newsam on February 14, 1959 in Peoria. She survives.

Dave is also survived by his children, Sharon (Roger) Proctor and David (Cyndi) Stewart Jr.; three grandchildren, Jessica (Randy) Eimerman, Jacob (Dr. Jamie) Stewart and Lane (Dr. Allison) Stewart; one great-granddaughter, Delaney Stewart; three sisters, Nancy Cook, Judy (Dick) Thomas and Pamela (Greg) Wooden; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Stanley, Thomas and Jerry; and sister, Grace.

David was a brewery worker for 38 years at Pabst and retired from Anheuser-Busch on Nov.1, 1997. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Per his wishes, there will be no services.

Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is assisting the family.
