

Dennis was born on September 29, 1949 in Pekin, Illinois. He was the son of Thomas and Dorothy (Standerfer) Duttarer. On November 7, 1970, he was married to Karen Sue Lewis at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bartonville. She survives.
There are two children surviving, Craig (Dana) Duttarer and Andrea (Jeff) McManus, both of Frisco, Texas. He has four grandchildren, Kara Predmore, Jake and Mia Duttarer, and Logan McManus all of Frisco, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marcia Lynn Segler. His loving dog, Louie, will miss Dennis.
Dennis was a 1967 graduate of Limestone High School, and a 1974 graduate of Bradley University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion, Friendly Neighbor Club, and Good Fellows Club. Dennis was a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bear fan. He was also a Bradley University Basketball enthusiast. Dennis was also an avid golfer and bowler. He was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Bartonville. Dennis worked 35 years at Keystone Steel and Wire Company, retiring in 2008 as a Rod Mill Engineer.
A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Philip Lund and Rev. Eimo Hinrichs will officiate. A visitation will be one hour prior the services on Sunday at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow the Memorial Service at the Bartonville American Legion. Cremation rites have been accorded and a Private family inurnment service will be on Monday at the Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
