Dennis James Mudd

He was born October 3, 1961 in Peoria to Monroe and Ruth Ann (Frailey) Mudd. He married Nancy Lauterbach and she passed away July 31, 2019 in Canton. He was also preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his father, one son, several grandchildren, one brother, Dale (Cathy) Mudd, and three sisters: Sherry (Robert) McIntosh, Cathy (Jeff) Vogel, and Kristine Cannon.

In his free time Dennis was an active hunter and fisherman. He also had a passion for 70’s classic rock music, and was an avid sports fan, following Dale Sr and Dale Jr, the St. Louis Blues, and the Bears all his life. When he wasn't cheering for his favorite teams he was spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 16, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Bartonville Christian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
