Donna J. Cunningham

Donna J. Cunningham, 80, of Bartonville, Illinois, died Saturday evening, September 27, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 8, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois. She was the daughter of Madison and Cuba (Combs) Johnson. She married Richard Cunningham on October 18, 1952 in Peoria, Illinois. He survives.

Also surviving are four children, Janice (James) Gruber and Sue Bradford both of Bartonville, Illinois, Jeff (Joyce) Cunningham of Hanna City, Illinois and Dona Wiebler of Bloomington, Illinois. She has 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Donna was also survivied by one sister in law, Catherine Cunningham of Peoria, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Michael Penn, two sons-in-laws, Donald Bradford and Randy Wiebler, two great grandchildren and four sisters and three brothers.

Donna worked several years as a secretary and bookkeeper for the Scrip Company in Peoria, Illinois. She was a former member of the American Legion Post 979 Auxiliary in Bartonville. She enjoyed fishing and putting puzzles together. She also loved knitting and crocheting.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. A visitation will be Tuesday at the chapel from 5 PM until 7 PM. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois.
