Donna Jean Heuermann

Donna Jean Heuermann, 89, of Bartonville, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Hallmark Healthcare of Pekin. Born in Peoria, on October 1, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Gladys (Kreeger) Tanner. On July 23, 1955, she married Eugene A. Heuermann. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2018.

Surviving her are two children, Wendy (Rick) Bucklin and Steve (Carla) Heuermann; four grandchildren, Samantha (Josh Halford) Heuermann, Tom (Heather) Heuermann, Becky (Sarmad Saadi) Bucklin, and Melissa (Wes) Kilper; and four great-grandchildren. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Heuermann.

Donna was initially employed at Federal Warehouse. She then worked as a bookkeeper for Bellevue Plaza Hardware for 40 years, then for JC Penney in the fine jewelry department and later at Roger Burke Jewelers. She enjoyed going camping at Kentuckiana Campground and participating in many family gatherings.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Interment will take place at Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences and memories may be shared through Davison-Fulton-BartonvilleChapel.com
