Dorothy "Jackie" Branham

Jackie was born on January 21, 1915 in La Prairie, IL to Justice James and Fae (Wilcox) Owen. She married Vincent Neal Branham on July 5, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1975. Also preceding her in death are her parents and one brother, Clyde.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen (Dean) Moushon of Peoria, IL and Candy (Craig) Erskine of Henderson, Nevada; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Jackie worked as a sales clerk in the Peoria area. She was very active in the Bartonville Methodist Church before later joining Grace Presbyterian Church, where she was also very active. Jackie enjoyed playing Bridge and writing poetry. She was an excellent cook, and loved to bake angel food cakes from scratch for special occasions. She enjoyed hosting luncheons in her home and also held bible study classes. Jackie was also a member of the FAMU Near Club in Bartonville.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2pm at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Lawn Ridge cemetery in Edelstein, IL. Memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church. Online condolences may be made through www.davison-fulton-bartonvillechapel.com
