Dorothy F. Kelley

Dorothy Flanagan Kelley 83, of Brimfield passed away Friday March 31, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was born to Ira Burnett and Edna Flanagan Burnett on January 29, 1934. She married Melvin Kelley on September 4, 1992. He preceded her in death. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings. Dorothy is survived by her children Vera Wheeler of South Pekin, Robyn Wheeler of Bellevue, Patricia (Greg) Madison of Brimfield, Edna Bedwell of Brimfield, and Arthur “Chris” Wheeler of Glasford. She is also survived by her sister Beulah J. Hyten of Trivoli and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life she was a homemaker and worked in the hotel restaurant industry. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, taking care of her chickens and spending time with her dog. She also enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Davison-Fulton Bartonville chapel is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held Tuesday April 4th 2017 at Pottstown Cemetery in Pottstown at 10:00 a.m.
