Earl Bradley Willis

Earl Bradley Willis, 59, of East Peoria passed away at 12:38 pm Saturday, May 13,2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Galesburg.

He was born October 16, 1957 in Peoria, the son of Earl "Barney" and Dorothy (Behm) Willis. He married Vickie Sell on September 10, 1977.

Brad is survived by his wife of 39 years; one daughter, Crystal (Bryon) Ray of Marquette Heights; one son, Bradley (Krista) Willis of Morton; and four grandchildren, Chase, Wyatt, Rhyan, and Hannah.

He is preceded in death by his parents and in-laws.

Brad worked in facility engineering for Kroger over the past 10 years. He worked at Walz Scales and Metro Copy in previous years.

He was a member of Willipat Goose Club, Fingerlakes Sportsman Club and a member of Peoria Speedway Hall of Fame.

Brad was an avid Cubs Fan, racer, bowler, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends.

Brad never met a stranger and was the type of guy you could count on no matter what.

The family asked that everyone who attends to wear sports or hunting attire.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to services. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.

Please join us for A Celebration of Life at Peoria Speedway on Farmington Road, Friday May 19th from 5-7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a benefit account set up at South Side Bank to help his Great-Niece, Maddison Harmon, with her fight against Histio.

I was in shock to read your post on facebook Brad. It breaks my heart for your mom, sister and you Brad to go through this, a good soul taken much too soon. You can bet your dad and Gary will be talking race cars! Hang on to all the good memories you have Brad, the photos show there were many!
