Edith M. Kellington, 86, of West Peoria, formerly of Bellevue, passed away at 1:45 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Heddington Oaks in Peoria. She was born on April 16, 1932 in Reichenberg, Czechoslovakia to Arthur and Else Roskowetz. She married William J. “Bill” Kellington in Beerfelden, Germany on September 16, 1952. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons Henry (Carol) Kellington of Mapleton, Stephen (Aniko) Kellington of Washington, and Donald (Sandy) Kellington of Peoria; 9 Grandchildren, Troy, Jeff, Andy, Steve, Brittany, Donnie, Krissi, Jessica, and Bill; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Edith was a housewife and homemaker. She was of the Christian Faith. She had been a member of the Farmington Moose Lodge, where she had served as Senior Regent. She enjoyed bowling and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation will be accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel, with visitation an hour prior. Chaplain Floyd Henderson will officiate. Burial of her ashes will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Bartonville American Legion.
