Elizabeth Ann Eimer
November 17, 1979 – May 2, 2021
Our Angel has left us forever.
Elizabeth Ann Eimer, 41, of Nottingham, Maryland, passed away on May 2, 2021 in Baltimore, MD. She was born in Peoria, IL on November 17, 1979 to David and Rose Ann (Dantone) Eimer.
Lizzie, as her family called her, was born with severe developmental disabilities and medical issues that required the attention of many doctors, nurses, and aides throughout her life. She grew up in Bel Air, MD and attended John Archer School for students with disabilities until the age of 21. Although she never spoke a single word, Lizzie brought joy to her family and those around her, helping everyone she came in contact with understand what is truly important in life. In this way, she gave back more than she received, and for that we are grateful.
Lizzie’s mother Rose Ann was especially dedicated to her care, and for the first 35 years of her life, Lizzie was able to live at home with her loving and devoted parents. However, after a prolonged illness, Lizzie became ventilator dependent, necessitating a move to FutureCare Nursing Home in Baltimore. While Lizzie was on this earth for only a short while, we cherish every day we had with her and sincerely hope that she felt our love and affection. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace and comfort.
She is survived by her father, David Eimer, her sister, Lisa Eimer, and her nephew, Liam Eimer-Gleason, all of Nottingham, MD. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, many of whom live in the Peoria and Lincoln, IL area. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Ann Eimer, her maternal grandparents Joseph and Rose Dantone of Bartonville, IL, and her paternal grandparents, Richard and Halcyone Eimer of Lincoln, IL.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Resurrection Mausoleum, followed by a graveside service, presided over by Deacon Robert W. Myers, Sr.
Memorials may be made to John Archer School at 100 Thomas Run Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015 or to the Harford Center at 4 N Earlton Rd, Havre De Grace, MD 21078.
