Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Lisa Marie (Jason) Ramsay and Nicole Lynn (Roger) Royer; her grandchildren, Brittany Butcher, Roger (Nancy) Royer, Hope Royer, Alexandria (Sean) Hileman, Noah (Gracelynn) Royer, Gabriella Butcher, Mark Butcher and Amy Ramsay; and her great-grandchildren, Cody, Dagan, Gavin, Zander, Shelby, Aria, Suzie (Elizabeth’s birthday buddy), and Hunter. She is also survived by her sisters, Caroline Smiles and Janet Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
For 21 years, Elizabeth served at OSF as a cook, a steady and dedicated presence whose work was rooted in care for others and pride in doing things well.
She enjoyed a good game of cards, dice and jigsaw puzzles just like the crucial piece that kept her family together. She loved her family immensely.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one-hour prior to the service at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Peoria.
