Frank Stetler Sr.

Born June 13, 1946 in Peoria, IL to Virgil R. and Juanita (Collins) Stetler; he married Rose Updike on October 2, 1965 in Bartonville, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Rose Stetler of Mapleton; children, Frank (Lisa) Stetler, Jr of Hanna City, IL and Angela (BJ) Caragher of Mapleton, IL; grandchildren, Nick and Bethany Stetler; brother, Virgil “Ray” (Marcy) Stetler Jr and his brother-in-law, James (Kathy) Lamb.

Frank was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1966-68.

He spent his career as a sheet metal worker with J.A. Fritch & Sons, retiring in 2006 after 36 years.

Frank enjoyed fishing and absolutely loved duck hunting. He was a member and Past President of the Farmington Sportsman’s Club where he was active in the life of the club for many years.

He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears and took great delight in the Pennant and Superbowl victories in his lifetime.

Graveside services with Navy Honors will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton.

Memorials are suggested to Easter Seals.
