Frank was born on May 13, 1944 in Peoria to Frank B. and Leona (Sparks) Thompson. He married Diane K. Setlech on April 9, 1965, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Frank (Ashley) Thompson of Peoria; one grandson, Hunter J. Thompson of Peoria; nieces, Sue Gillan of Peoria and Linda (Ron) Gillan of Bartonville; nephews, Bill (Darcy) Holford of Morton and Gary (Janet) Holford of MO.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Thompson; sisters, Peggy Bohm and Arthine Holford; nephews, Melvin Bohm, R
obert (Bobbie) Bohm and Jackie Thompson; and cousin, Glen Sparks.
He worked 39 years for Peoria Park District. He was a member with Jimmy Swaggart Ministry in Baton Rouge, LA, 70826.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 5-7pm at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Cremation will be accorded following visitation.
