

He was born August 18, 1917 in Peoria to George and Mildred (Rynearson) Noble. He married Agnes Whipp on October 5, 1940 in Burlington, IA. She survives.
Also surviving is his son Larry (Cynthia) Noble of Bartonville, one daughter Terri Noble of Bartonville; one sister Ellen (Bob) Bledsoe of Peoria; two grandchildren Troy (Ellen) Noble and Joel (Sarah) Noble both of Bartonville; three great-grandsons Reagan, Henry and Luke Noble; and 9 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara and two brothers Chuck and Robert.
Gerald was a tool and die designer for Caterpillar retiring in 1979 after 44 years of service. He had a passion for woodworking and gardening, but his true pleasure came from being with his family especially his great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, August 16, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Pastor Art Georges will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday at the chapel. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
