Gloria A. (Lyons) Southey

Gloria A. (Lyons) Southey, 87, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe. She was born on June 19, 1931 in Peoria, Illinois to James and Juanita (Powley) Lyons. She married Roland L. Southey on April 4, 1964 in Peoria. He passed away on November 7, 2018 in Chillicothe, Illinois. She is also preceded in death by one son, Raymond Holmes; one grandson, Brad McFall; five brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by four children, Becky (Randy) Holmes-Gray of Memphis, Tennessee, Ronnie Southey of East Peoria, Illinois, Holly Southey of Peoria Heights, Illinois and Melissa (Curt) Hofmann of Varna, Illinois; ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She attended Charter Oak Bible Church in Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Charter Oak Bible Church. The Rev. Roger Larson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior services on Monday at the church. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is handling arrangements.
