Hilda M. Hodge

Hilda M. Hodge, 93, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. She was born on June 26, 1923 in Peoria, Illinois to Heye and Hannah (Heuermann) Peters. She married James G. Hodge on February 14, 1942 in Kahokia, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2005 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one infant great granddaughter.

She is survived by one son, Larry (Sally) Hodge of Peoria; three grandchildren, Amy (Mark) Duryea, Jeff (Donna) Hodge and Brian (Jana) Hodge; three great grandchildren, Madison Duryea, Ainsley and Aidan Hodge; three step grandchildren, Kelly (Doug) Orrick, Kristy (Fred) Estes and Kourtney (Steve Magee) Klein; three step great grandchildren, Karson Orrick, T.J. Orrick and Elena Estes. She has several nieces and nephews surviving.

Hilda worked 14 years in the cafeteria at the Limestone Community High School and was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Bartonville.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Bartonville. The Rev. Raymond Barclay will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7 PM Sunday at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel and 30 minutes prior to service at the church on Monday.
