Jared David Wing

He was born on September 26, 1989 in Peoria, IL to Patricia (Dallefeld) Tauscher and Jeffrey Wing.

He completed a 4 year apprenticeship with the Local IUOE 649 and went on to work for them for 12 years as a heavy equipment operator, most recently working for R. Gingerich Crane, Inc as a crane operator.

Before working for the IUOE 649, he worked for D's Autobody for the better part of a decade.

Jared loved hunting and fishing, especially bow hunting. He was known as an outdoorsman, going mushroom hunting, riding 4-wheelers, bonfires, and Budweiser. He went on multiple hunting trips with his Dad and friends to Leadville, Colorado. He also loved lifted trucks and hot rod cars, but most of all, he adored his children, family, friends, and his dog, Bear.

Jared is survived by his children, Lily Jane Wing and Hazely Grace Wing; his parents, Patty Tauscher and Jeff (Mona) Wing; his sister, Ashley (Russell) Spencer; his nephew, Gage Waddle; his niece, Ella Waddle; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dale and Jane Wing; and his maternal grandmother, Janice Dallefeld.

A Memorial Visitation in honor of Jared will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
