Mrs. Joanne Weiman

She was born on November 9, 1929 in Clarksville, TN to Joseph E. and Velma L. Queen Standerfer. Joanne married Stephen L. Weiman on October 22, 1949 in Bartonville. He preceded her in death in 2000.

Joanne was a member of the Bartonville United Methodist Church, Peoria Women’s Club, United Methodist Women and she was an accomplished vocalist and seamstress.

Joanne and Stephen enjoyed their summer home in Iron River, MI where they stayed for four or five months out of the year.

She is survived by her children: Sallie J. (Charles) Tindall, Stephan Erik (Sally) Weiman and Susan E. (David) Ledeboer, all of Bartonville, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, her sister: Judith (Robert) Freeman of Tuscon, AZ and several nieces and nephews.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Cremation will be accorded.

A Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Bartonville United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Richard officiating.

Joanne’s family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m.until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 2 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
