Joanne Worley

Mapleton, IL

 Joanne V. Worley, 81, of Mapleton, passed away at 5:45 pm, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at  OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

 She was born January 7, 1931 in Peoria, Il to John and Dell (Deveraux) Sheber. She married Clarence Worley on July 15, 1950 in Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jack, three sisters, Dorothy, Francis and Katheryn, one niece, Barb and one nephew, Billy. 

 Surviving are her husband Clarence of Mapleton, two sons, Rickey (Julie) Worley of Bartonville and Garry Worley of Peoria, three grandchildren, Graham, Chad and Mia, one sister, Betty (Ken) Lansford of Peoria and several nieces and nephews.

 Joanne worked with Caterpillar Inc. for over 32 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post 979 in Bartonville and the Monthly Card Club.  She enjoyed bingo, bowling, fishing in Wisconsin, wintering in Florida and any occasion with family and friends.

  A funeral service will be Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton-Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
