Jolene "Jo" A. Raymond

Jolene was born on May 20, 1943 in Peoria to Joseph and Grace (Bogard) Biggs. She married Earl Raymond in 1977 in Peoria. He survives.

Jolene graduated from Manual High School in 1962 and worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Company from 1963 until she retired in 2000. She was a member of the IL Bell Pioneers and was Chairman of the Board for the Peoria Bell Credit Union. She was a member of the Emblem Club and Altrusa and Charter Member of the Mid-Illinois Corvette Club.

Jolene was a smart, strong-willed woman with a good sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, cooking and driving her corvette; she loved her poodles and when she was younger she rode horses.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10am at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
