Joseph lived a life guided by simplicity, compassion, and a profound appreciation for the natural world. He found joy in places many people overlook: the rustle of leaves in the wind, the songs of birds at dawn, and the quiet peace of a wooded trail. He preferred the freedom of his bicycle to the convenience of an automobile and often chose the sounds of nature over the noise of television and modern distractions.
A devoted practicing Buddhist, Joseph approached life with mindfulness, kindness, and a deep respect for all living things.
Joseph is survived by his loving mother, Michelle Patrick of Tampa; his father, Daniel Patrick of Tampa; and his sisters, Elizabeth Patrick and Stella Patrick of Tampa. He is also survived by his beloved grandmother, Brenda Buck of Bartonville, Illinois, whom he loved deeply. He also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and carry his spirit with them.
A private remembrance will be held by the family.
“In the end, we return to the earth we walked upon and the sky we admired, leaving behind the kindness we shared and the lives we touched.”
Joseph will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew him.
