Kenneth was born February 18, 1935 in Peoria to LeRoy and Minnie (Weiler) Kocher. He married Gail M. Geisler December 31, 1955 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on May 20, 2021. Also preceding him in death was his parents, a sister, Betty Ann Johnson, and a brother, Jack Kocher.
Surviving are four children, Kevin (Bonny) Kocher of St. David, IL, Mark (Sherry) Kocher of Mapleton, Linda Kocher of Mapleton, and Pam (Tom) Cunningham of Peoria, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Ken owned and operated Bartonville TV for many years before going to work as a Supervisor for Caterpillar Inc. He was a founding member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bartonville, where he was a member of the Men's club and a past member of the Knights of Columbus. Ken enjoyed woodworking, playing and coaching softball, and coaching little league baseball. He also enjoyed country living and spending time with his grandchildren. Ken was a lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan.
A funeral mass will be 11:00 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bartonville. Burial will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Masks are required at the church.
