

Klista F. Roszhart, 96, of Bartonville, Illinois, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. She was born December 17, 1916 in Eureka, Illinois. She was the daughter of Debolt and Lydia (Stalter) Reeser. She married Victor Roszhart on February 15, 1943 in Syracuse, New York. He preceded her in death in May of 1972 in Bartonville, Illinois. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Stalter and two brothers, Lester and Oliver Reeser.
Klista is survived by two children, Terry Roszhart of North Caldwell, New Jersey and Ann (Jim) Weitkamp of Hanna City, Illinois. She has five grandchildren, Leigh Anna Csoka, Michael Roszhart, Jillian Letteney, Teresa Calicotte and Kimberly Bodine. There are also eight great grandchildren, Aedan, Tanner and Finnigan Mell, Skylar Csoka, Ivy Letteney, Jessica and Jennifer Calicotte and Kateland Bodine. Klista was very involved in managing the family farm for many years. She was a member of the Bartonville United Methodist Church, and the Women’s Society of the church. She was active earlier in PTA, Girl Scouts and active assisting in Boy Scouts. She was a member also in the Peoria Women’s Club.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Bartonville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Linda Richard and Rev. Dr. Alan Newhall will officiate. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel and 30 minutes prior services at her church on Tuesday. Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM on Tuesday at the Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa, Illinois. Memorials may be made to her church.
