Larry L. Day

He was born to Henry and Lilly (Summers) Day on July 30, 1948 in Peoria. He married Marsha Lemaster on February 7, 1970 at the Creve Coeur Christian Church, and she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Bradley (Staci) Day of Bartonville and Kimberly (Rick) Kolarich of Hanna City; and four grandchildren, Parker (Jade Blake) Day, Zoe Day, Hunter Kolarich, and Katie Kolarich.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janet Day; and brothers, Henry Day and Paul Day.

After graduating high school, he attended four years of trade school and became an electrician. He worked in maintenance and was a member of the IBEW #34 for more than 50 years. He then worked at Mitsubishi and retired in 2008.

Larry enjoyed working, NASCAR, guns, and traveling.

It was Larry’s wish to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.

Memorials in honor of Larry may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
