Leon was one of favorite ff to work with!!!!! when i first came on i was assigned to station 8 with Leon. & Larry Tully on E-2. What a great time we had!!!! We fought a lot of fires together & had good times at the firehouse. will miss him & that contagious smile he had. He helped me become a good ff and showed me how to be a good person. Leon you are always helpful to your family and friends. I remember one snowy morning you helped your brother Albert deliver papers when his car broke down. Albert and I will NEVER forget that day. Thanks for the lingering memory........ RIP

Loved going over to Uncle Leon and Aunt Sharon's house for the 4th of July parties. It was so much fun hanging out by the lake. I always remember there was always BEER!!!
That is a Schneider tradition. Try to find a holiday photo without a can of BEER!!

We love you Uncle Leon!! Rest in Peace--

Dear Sharon, Bonnie, Jeff and family,
We are so very sorry for the heartache you are feeling now and wish we could be with you.
Everyone who knew Leon has a "Special Memory ". We always sent him a special birthday card, you know what I'm talking about.😊
I always loved that he called me "Sister Linda" and I called him "Brother Leon"
He will be sorely missed..

I have many wonderful memories of Leon that I’ll always cherish. I loved and appreciated his humor. He had a way of making you feel as if he was on your side no matter the issue, he’d stand where you needed - beside you as a friend, in front of you as a protector or behind you, to catch you when fell.

My condolences, sympathy and shared grief.

With Love,
Christy MacFarlane
