Lois Darlene Coy

Lois Darlene Maple (Coy), 63, of Peoria, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at her home. She was born on September 7, 1960 in Peoria, a daughter of Ralph Maple and Shirley (Morris) Maple. Lois married Alvin Coy in Peoria. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Jason Maple and Matthew BeCraft.

Lois is survived by her two brothers, Ralph E. (Kathy) Maple and Ronald D. Maple; and four sisters, Vickie I. Otto, Karen S. (Ignacio) Navarete, Debbie L. Maple and Nancy J. Stewart.

She last worked as a cook for Independence Village.

Lois loved her family, was an avid admirer and collector of plants, collected angels, unicorns, and solar bobble heads, and enjoyed watching old television shows.

Lois's funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday August 8, 2024 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Her visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm also on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery in rural Mapleton.
