Lois L Curry

  She was born April 1, 1928 in Peoria County to Howard and Edith (Hill) Petty.  She married Jess O. Curry on December 22, 1946 in Peoria.  They were married for 59 years before he died in January of 2006 in Peoria.

  She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lorraine Dant, Hazel Tucker and one infant brother.

  Surviving are three daughters, Linda Curry of Peoria, IL, Susan Reed of Bloomington, Melissa Conover of Bartonville; one son, Howard (Pamela) Curry of Gibson City, IL; four granddaughters, one grandson, and six great-grandchildren.

  Lois was a homemaker.  Her family was the most important thing in her life.  She loved to spend time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was truly loved and will be missed.

  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel.  Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
