Lois Ann Miller

Lois Ann Miller, 97, died at Memorial Health Hospital In Springfield, IL on February 17th. Lois was born on February 28, 1928 in Limestone Township to Harry H, and Anna Voss Miller. She was baptized and confirmed at St John Lutheran Church in Bartonville, IL.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Viola Johnson and Verna Schultz, two brothers: Howard Miller and Glenn Miller, two nephews: Roger Johnson and Arlen Johnson. and one niece, Pamela Taccona. She leaves six nieces: Janet Zang, Glenna Baker, Julianna Miller Newman, Amy Wendling, Jeanette Miller and Sherry Hitchcock and six nephews: Gary Johnson, Jay Johnson, Larry Schultz, Grant Miller, Jerry Whelan and Randy Miller.

Lois lived in the Springfield, IL area for over 75 years. She had a Masters of Education degree and was a teacher in the Springfield, IL area for over 42 years.

Lois was a lifelong member of St John Lutheran Church in Bartonville. IL and a longtime member of St John's Lutheran Church in Springfield, IL. Lois's life was focused on her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her Faith was very important to her. Her sweet spirit impacted everyone who ever knew her.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with her funeral service at 11:00 am at St John Lutheran Church in Bartonville, IL. Rev. Michael Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at St John Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
