Thank you Fred, for your lovely song! My grown son heard it last year when I bought it, and cried. My daughter in law heard it today as I told her about it, and we both cried again. You did us all a favor by sharing this song. Many couples will never experience the joy of so many years together with the one they love, and I think this song makes us hope that our lives will be as full of love as yours and Lorraine's was. I know that it's not always easy being married, after just 24 yrs, but I can only imagine the love after 75yrs! Anything worth having is worth fighting for...and in the end, the reward of a love you both shared! We thank you for sharing your story. Her memory still lingers on...

Fred, I once again watched your video and wasn't surprised at all that it had over 6 million hits. It reminds me of what we all want: someone to love and to be loved. Thank you and Jacob for sharing it with the world.

My grandparents were married on June 26, 1944. They had a love like no other. Identical to the love between the Stobaughs. I had the pleasure of having my daughter on June 26, 2004 on their 60th wedding anniversary. We didn't know how much time we had left. My loving grandpa passed in 2005. Sweet Lorraine passed on my 39th birthday. I didn't know you but, in my heart I do now. Blessings Fred.

It's been almost one year since Sweet Lorraine left this earth, but the beautiful lyrics that her loving husband, Fred, wrote for her and Green Shoe Studio recorded was such a touching tribute. I am sorry for your loss Fred and thank you for sharing your love story with us all. It is an inspiration and encouragement; a true picture of a lifetime of devoted love!
