Marie was born on January 26, 1956 in Peoria to Russell Sr. and Eleanor (Joan) Zeine. She married Douglas Haage of Glasford on April 14, 1984.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters – Kristie Haage, Kelsey Haage, both of
Bartonville, and Kortney (Matthew) Gronewold of Mapleton and two grandsons Oliver and
Ryder Gronewold of Mapleton. Two brothers, Brad (Deanna) Zeine of Glasford, Russel Jr.
(Anita) Zeine of Mapleton, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Russell Sr. and Eleanor "Joan" Zeine, and one
brother, Gordon Zeine.
Marie was a 1974 graduate of Illini Bluffs High School in Glasford and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science in Accounting from MacMurray College in 1978, working for several local manufacturing companies in central IL, eventually retiring from the State of Illinois in December 2017.
Marie enjoyed reading, cooking/baking, crafting, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation for Marie will be held on Tuesday, Sept 2, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Burial of the urn will occur Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 3:00 PM at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Glasford.
Memorials can be made in her honor to the Peoria Area Alzheimer’s Association or to the Richard L. Owen’s Hospice Home.
