Marty A. Knowles, 55, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born on September 25, 1960 in Peoria, Illinois to Roger and Charlotte (Walley) French. He married Cathy Leach. She survives.
He is also survived by three children, Josh (Rachael) Knowles of Morton, Illinois, Mandy (Nick) Garner of Peoria and Caitlin Knowles of Bartonville; his father, Roger French of Bartonville; three step sons, Jared, Joel and Kevin Parsons. He has 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He has one sister, Theresa Knowles and one brother, Jason French. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
He worked several years at the Bartonville Hardware Store. He was a member of the Bartonville Christian Church.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4PM until 6PM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Cremation rites will be accorded. You may create an online condolence at www.davison-fultonbartonvillechapel.com.
