Mary L. Donaho Tibbs

She was born November 8, 1916 in Canton, IL to Willard M. and Grace V. (Clark) Donaho. She married Roy Hollandsworth, who preceded her in death. She then married Harold J. Tibbs September 20, 1969. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2009 in Peoria. Her parents, three brothers, Melvin, Jake, and Sam, and two infant sisters, and one sister Elizabeth Whitaker also preceded her in death.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mary worked as an Emergency Clerk with Caterpillar Inc until retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bartonville. She was also a member of the St. John Leisure Group, Peoria County Home Extension and Farm Bureau, The Prime timers, the Cat Retiree’s and enjoyed genealogy.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Michael Jones will officiate. Burial will follow the service at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
