Born Dec. 21, 1928 in Stronghurst, IL to Ernest and Lois (Shaw) Putney. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Robert) LeMasters of Bartonville; son, Gary (Mary) West of IN; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three brothers, Fred, Kenneth, and Paul Putney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Mary worked at Foster & Gallagher and at the Hotel Pere Marquette in Peoria before retiring. She was an avid bowler in the Peoria area, and liked to work crossword puzzles.
Cremation has been accorded. Memorial Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel in Bartonville. Family will receive friends one hour before services at the Chapel.
Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
