Nolan “Ed” Eggers, age 74, of Peoria passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Heddington Oaks. He was born October 24, 1944 in Peoria, IL. He was lovingly raised by Wallace and Myrtle Eggers. They preceded him in death along with his biological mother, Lucille Hickman and two brothers, Russell McQuarry and Lawrence McQuarry. Survivors include his wife, Ellen (Benedict) Eggers, whom he married July 4, 1969 in Peoria. Also surviving are his children, Russell Eggers and Tammy Eggers and two grandsons, Austin Neltner and Brody Brown. Ed worked at Keystone Steel and Wire for 37 years. He was an avid Cubs fan and a member of Maxwell Road Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Pastor Joel Newton will officiate. Visitation will be held an hour prior. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or charity of your choice.

I went to school with Ed, played ball in the summers with him. Lived not to far from where he lived while in school. So sorry for your loss.
