Patricia Lee Carter-Segal

Patricia L. Carter-Segal, 84, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at The Villas of Holly Brook Assisted Living & Memory Care in Bellevue. Born on October 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late George Deimel and Nellie (Gallagher) Jones. On January 10, 2015, she married Russell D. Segal on the beach in Walton, FL. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2019.

Surviving Pat are her children, James (Connie) Carter and Jay Carter; honorary son, Kevin McClure; grandchildren, Paige Carter, Claire (Josh) Kettinger, and Tate Carter; great grandchildren, Noah Carter, Oliver Gibbens, and Layne Kettinger; a sister, Judy Fosco; and a half brother, Ralph Jones, Jr. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Joel Carter; and brother-in-law, Frank Fosco.

Pat was an administrative assistant at Caterpillar for over 25 years. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the St. Louis Cardinals, Bradley Basketball, and U of I sports, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's events over the years. She also enjoyed fashion, decorating her home, and traveling.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private.
