Peggy Lynn Jacobs

Peggy Lynn (Farris) Jacobs, aka (Mawmaw) 68, of Peoria, formerly of Bartonville, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 18, 1954 in Peoria, a daughter of Lawrence Leland and Delores D. (Magner) Farris.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael L. Farris.

Peggy is survived by her four children, Richard Lowande of Delavan, IL. Melanie Lowande, Robert Burr, and Justina Jacobs all of Peoria IL.

Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Mikey, Tyler, Joey, Sophia, Blinda, Christopher, Merisa, Torionna, Montarious, Amiya, Dalton, Connor, Lillionna, and Brayden and 5 great grandchildren, Amelia, Violette, Izabell, Bentley, Liliana

Peggy last worked in housekeeping for Best Western and Days Inn Hotel in Morton IL for over 20 years. She previously worked as a waitress and bartender for the Garden Street Coffee Shop and the Garden Gate Tap for many years.

She was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Peoria Aerie #265. Also a member of the Foxy Ladies bowling league, and the heart/supporter of Big Rays Express Lube.

Peggy's visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. An additional visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 also at the funeral chapel. There will be no service. Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the children of Peggy Jacobs at 2021 S. Laramie St. Peoria, IL.
