

Randell Edward Lampman,45, of Oswego, Illinois, formerly of Bartonville, Illinois died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. He was born on January 30, 1970 in Peoria, Illinois. He was the son of Charles and Sandra (Harkins) Lampman.
He is survived by his father, Charles Lampman of Bartonville, Illinois; one sister, Sarah (Don) Hoffman of Washington, Illinois; two nephews, Benjamin and Luke Hoffman of Washington, Illinois; one aunt, Nancy Harkins of Bartonville, Illinois. He is also survived by very close friends, Michael (Terri) Alm of Elburn, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Randy was a Senior Account Management Specialist for Met Life in Aurora, IL. He was an avid sports fan (Go Cards!), an alternative music aficionado and lover of all things Christmas. He was also “kinda a big deal” as the starting center for Oak Grove’s 1984 8th grade state finalist basketball team.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the chapel on Thursday. Burial will be in the Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois.
