She was born Renetta Joann Anderson on September 14th, 1936 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Anthony and Estelle Anderson. She married Don Dalton on July 2, 1960 in Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband Don and two sisters, Rebecca Harrison and Betty Simmering.
Surviving are her only son, Mark (Genus) Dalton of Wildwood, MO, two grandsons, Alexander (9) and Cooper (4); and one sister Louellen King of Ft Smith, AR.
Joann worked for Polar Supply for over 30 years before retiring in 2007 and was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Bartonville.
A processional will start at 12:00 pm Saturday August 22nd at Davidson-Fulton Bartonville Chapel followed by graveside service at Smithville Cemetery in Smithville, IL. Rev. Jack Thompson will be officiating.
