

Dick was born on August 24, 1938 in Peoria to the late William and Ada Marie (Jenkins) Schultz. He is the last of 11 siblings.
He married Glenda Howe on April 1, 1961 in Peoria. She survives.
Dick is also survived by one daughter, Tammy (Jud) Williams; two sons, Tim (Molly) Schultz and Tom Schultz all of Bartonville; grandchildren, Skyler (Brittney) Williams, Eli Williams, Alyssa Schultz, Ashley (Zach) Rappe and Mason Schultz; and several nieces and nephews.
Dick retired from Caterpillar, where he was an assembler. He was a fun loving guy and had a great sense of humor. Dick loved to help his wife with her projects and was a professional television watcher, loved coffee, and was an avid Cubs fan. He also enjoyed square dancing. Most of all he loved his family and they were always his first priority.
Dick and Glenda are chartered members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, also at the funeral home.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
